Aluminium Test Training and Research Center, abbreviated as “ALUTEAM” at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University was born in 2011 within the scope of the project founded in Aluexpo in partnership with Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University and Entrepreneurial Aluminum Industrialists and Businessmen Association and started its activities in 2013 with the partnership of Entrepreneurial Aluminum Industrialists and Businessmen Association (GALSIAD) and with the support of Istanbul Development Agency (IDA). The business structure was expanded with the project partnerships of the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (IDDMIB) in 2015 and the Turkish Aluminum Industrialists’ Association (TALSAD) in 2018. The Aluminum Test Training and Research Center Guided Project, which is supported by Istanbul Development Agency as a non-profit organization, has been successfully completed between 2015-2017. In 2018, within the scope of Istanbul Development Agency (IDA) Innovative and Creative Istanbul Financial Support Program, Aluminum Building Systems Testing and Training Laboratories (ASTEL) Project was granted support and the project complated. In 2022, within the scope of Istanbul Development Agency (IDA) Innovative Istanbul Support Program, the Aluminium Industry Energy Efficiency Digital Interface Development and Increasing ALUTEAM Competence Project was entitled to receive supported.
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif Üniversitesi’nde yer alan Alüminyum Test Egitim ve Arastirma Merkezi kisa adiyla “ALUTEAM”, 2011 yilinda Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif Üniversitesi ve Girisimci Alüminyum Sanayici ve Isadamlari Dernegi ortakliginda Aluexpo’da temelleri atilan proje kapsaminda dogmus, Girisimci Alüminyum Sanayici ve Is Adamlari Dernegi (GALSIAD) ortakligi ve Istanbul Kalkinma Ajansi (ISTKA) destegi ile 2013 yilinda faaliyetlerine baslamistir. 2015 yilinda Istanbul Demir ve Demir Disi Metaller Ihracatçilar Birligi (IDDMIB), 2018 yilinda ise Türkiye Alüminyum Sanayicileri Dernegi’nin (TALSAD) proje ortakliklari ile isletme yapisi genisletilmistir. Kâr amaci gütmeyen kurulus olarak Istanbul Kalkinma Ajansi tarafindan desteklenen Alüminyum Test Egitim ve Arastirma Merkezi Güdümlü Projesi 2015-2017 yillari arasinda yürütülerek basari ile tamamlanmistir. 2018 yilinda Istanbul Kalkinma Ajansi (ISTKA) Yenilikçi ve Yaratici Istanbul Mali Destek Programi kapsaminda Alüminyum Yapi Sistemleri Test ve Egitim Laboratuvarlari (ASTEL) Projesi destege hak kazanmis olup, proje tamamlanmistir. 2022 yilinda ise Istanbul Kalkinma Ajansi (ISTKA) Yenilikçi Istanbul Mali Destek Programi kapsaminda Alüminyum Sektörü Enerji Verimliligi Dijital Arayüzü Gelistirilmesi ve ALUTEAM Yetkinliginin Arttirilmasi Projesi destek almaya hak kazanmistir.
