Önsöz Foreword Our sincere belief is that the remarkable expansion of the exhibition space and the impressive number of exhibitors will be enhanced by fruitful interactions with our visitors. I am pleased to announce that we have already witnessed record- breaking online visitor registrations, solidifying my confidence that both exhibitors and visitors will leave with a sense of fulfillment. In line with the growing importance of aluminum, we are proud to announce that we are hosting the eighth edition of the Aluexpo Exhibition from October 12th to 14th, 2023, setting new records and reinforcing its position in the global Aluminum Industry. I extend my gratitude on behalf of our company to all the entities that have made significant contributions to the successful execution of our exhibition. Firstly, to the Turkish Aluminum Industrialists' Association, the Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers, and TUBITAK-Marmara Research Center for their contribution in organizing the symposium. Additionally, we express our appreciation to the Turkish Ministry of Trade for their financial support in facilitating the participation of our producer- exporter exhibitors and organizing procurement delegations. Our thanks also go to KOSGEB for providing financial assistance to SME-sized companies exhibiting in the fair, as well as to all our subcontractors who contributed during the setup phase. We also extend our gratitude to the IFM managers and staff. Furthermore, I wish the best of success to the 11th International Aluminum Symposium and congratulate the organizing committee. I extend my wishes for a productive, successful, and joyful exhibition to all our exhibitors and visitors. The significant success we achieved at the last Aluexpo Exhibition held in March 2022 provided us with the initial signals for this year's event. Consequently, without hesitation, we have added a new hall, and as of January 2023, the entire stand space has been fully booked. Aluexpo continues to break records: The net exhibition area, which was 11,700 m² in 2022, has increased by 30 % this year to reach 15,200 m². Including co-exhibitors, local participation has risen by 9%, from 203 to 222 companies, while international participation has surged by 25%, from 145 to 181. The most remarkable surge has been witnessed in the number of direct foreign exhibitors, with a staggering 174% increase from 27 to 74. Thus, this year's Aluexpo will feature a total of 403 companies, with 45% being international, showcasing their latest technologies and most creative aluminum products to the world.
