ALUEXPO 2017 End of Show Press Release

ALUEXPO FAIR  WAS THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS EVENT OF EURASIA REGION ALSO THIS YEAR…

ALUEXPO 2017 – 5th International Aluminium Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair took place between October 5 -7 at Istanbul Expo Center.

This year at ALUEXPO, 162 being from Turkey and 157 international total of 319 exhibitors showcased from 33 countries. ALUEXPO 2017 broke a new record with visitor count. Thousands of industrial representatives, aluminium users and professionals of aluminium trade from all over the world visited the fair in three halls during three days. The visitors fulfilled the exhibitors’ booths making business by visiting most relevant. International buyers brought efficiency to the trade fair. Not only the business deals and sales during the fair, with the after fair arrangements, a great deal of export potential came off. ALUEXPO 2017 closed its doors with a great satisfaction of all local and international exhibitors and visitors.

During the grand opening of Aluexpo Trade Fair; names in order, Mr. Ibrahim ANIL (Hannover Messe Ankiros Fairs General Manager), Mr. Wolfgang LENARZ (Deutsche Messe AG Senior Vice President) Goksal Gungor (8th Aluminium Symposium Chairman Of The Organizing Committee), Prof. Dr. Metin Usta (Tubitak Marmara Research Center Materials Institute Manager), Mr. Tuncay Sulan (Uctea Chamber Of Metallurgical And Materials Engineers Chairman Of The Board Of Directors) and Mr. Ali Kibar (Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association Chairman Of The Board Of Directors) took place with their speech and presentations.

Concurrent Symposium
The 8thAluminium Symposium was held at the same time and place with ALUEXPO 2017 with the cooperation of TALSAD, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center and TMMOB Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers. The Symposium brought together all aluminium production technologies and every dimensions of aluminium industry in academic platform to examine the economic, technological, scientific fields of Aluminium Industry. Symposium succeeded at creating a vision for Turkey’s existing and future status in global aluminium industry.
